epic much?

now where i truly admire the spacious feel to this atmospheric masterpiece, i cant quite care for its dismelodine nature. however it may just be something unique and special, intended to be slightly dischordant to suggest the beauty of imperfection :D

the slow damp feel has a cool breeze effect, blowing the minds negativite energies away......then the wonderfully gentle movement into the Xylophone warms up the mind with a sweet tingle of charming harmonics.

this has a lot of space and air to it, leaving it a little too dry for my liking, and some of the bird sound effects feel a little out of place , perhaps if they where pitched to match the transposition of the song? creating a lovely addition to the melody, but also capturing your lovely idea of the birds calling? hehe just a suggestion :D

the beat is lovely, i thought it a little harsh for ambience, but then got used to it, realising its more about movement, flow and the empowerment that entering a new, larger horizon can bring.

i really think this is a very touching piece! i love the effects, although it seems a smidge repetitive... but then ambience isnt so much about intellect, as setting a scene, learning and being at peace, which i most certainly am.

ultimate song to end a bad day, perfectly.

awesome music. i must favourite it and YOU as an artist.
beaver out. :D

Dang thank you thank you :) :)
feedback is awesome bro I'm glad you liked it for the most part.

Sadly I'm using a demo of FL 9 to make my music so i can't go back and change things after I export them as mp3 cause i can't save FL files :(

but yeah man, um if ya feel like checkin out my other stuff that'd be totally cool. "Epic" is my highest rated track, the others are all alright too I guess.

Thx again for the feedback, if you got any stuff you want me to check out jus holla :)

THE BEST

this is so awesome, i think i literally crapped my pants! i just HAVE to use this in an animation!

LEGEND!!!

this is by far the most epic song you have made so far far away.

this is alan rickman. saying you are cool. ^ ^

YOUR VOICE????????????

be honest. is that your voice..... WTF is that one of your female friends singing? FTW FTW FTW IS THIS FOR REAL? or a remix... i dont recognise this song.
trust me, i dont just favourite anyone. tell me if this is you performing and creating this music. if it is. you are just a WICKED musical artist!
and reguardless of whether you use vocal samples or your own...
THIS MUSIC has so much feel.. the inventive chord progression, the colourful instrument choices, the heated movement of the fluctual pitch twist on that synth... your sick beats and the pure power behind this entire track...the atmosphere...

funny thing is. i hated hip hop. until now.

VenoMuk responds:

hey thanks for the review Stalagmite :) , first thing is this isnt my own voice, i mixed this together from various sample packs i had lying around , and i used magix music maker, they produce some top quality loops to play with and this is a mix of about 20 different styles of hiphop.

The thing is theres so many Mixers out there that do this very thing, with almost every track i make i try to give it my own stamp and feel to it, and even if it is a style of music i try to make it as orginal as possible using pre-recorded sounds. Ive been doing this for 13 years now since i was a teenager and it is the only hobby i have other than playing computer games, i have a passion for this sort of thing, and im rearly greatful you reviewed this. Its one of my favourte tracks :) Thanks again my friend!

HAI YOU!!!

fantastic work! your voice is unusual... i would not personal have put it in rap but it really does have that unusual durability and clearly can endure the pounding seriousness of this genre. :D very very impressive work! i can completely imagine this being played in peoples cars! AWESOME! your talents are never ending :D ^ ^
beaver out yo :D

BigRed responds:

Peace out beaver!!

I feared....

that with your positive changes you would lose your edge for the emotion in your work... truth is, its better than ever. this is full of fantastic ideas. pure fantasy chillout... so so so good boux. you are eternally talented! realy epic piece here dude. :D good job!

Boux responds:

Thank you very much Stalagmite ^_^ im still the same person after all, so ill keep doing music no mather what, im very glad to hear of you, i will keep you updated

HONESTLY :D

firstly, voting ten in the compeition for ME, would suggest EVERYTHING was perfect and no improvements can be made.
and bearing in mind i acknowledge your perfect diction, fantastic use of accents and wonderflly well written characters and script, it did lag in parts. some bits seemed a little dragged out and boring to listen to, and it wasnt the most eventful scene, personally a little more action would have pleased me. i love your voices, all of them!
i dont remember what robotnik sounds like, but i do remember the two minions at the end. i hated them with a passion. HA-ha-ha-hAAAAA
*puts gun to head*
lol, this was a fantastic submission, i was looking forward to meeting reuben again!
this was fun to listen to and VERY well done, sounded very proffensional! you are a master of voices. :D GOOD JOB!

Some advice :D

your script was very creative, and made me very hungry! it had a ditsy cute feel that could only be given by you! :D a really wonderful feeling of being there was the result of your mixing! where admitedly your performance was a little to quiet at parts, and your low narrator/man voice did sound really forced and unnatural, and assumedly especially uncomfortable to perform! hehe, so it jus shows how hard you where trying! :D your range was impressive as usual, and the general acting performance was quite good :D
only you could pull off a convincing battle between random cute characters VS the vegetable crusade. KEEP IT UP! i loved the grandma voice. well done, thanks so much for submitting! and you are pure awesome :D

Jessismith responds:

Well, my voice is naturally dry and airy, so don't worry, it wasn't so uncomfortable to put on a lower raspier voice. :) This was actually really fun to make....I made it just for fun anyway. You're pure awesome too just for reviewing. I've been awaiting your awesome review for a long time. Thanks so much Stag. *huggles* I'll keep it up, as long as I know someone else likes it. :)

HONESTLY

effort- 9/10. this clearly has some thought put into it. making me appeciate it all the more. :D you have done a good job on your voices, they are all quite different, all suggesting your range is quite colourful, although maybe a few more characters would have made it more clear about how flexibile you really are. the voices displayed are a clear indication of how high and low your voice can go, but all the same they are the voices that everyone can do. the low grumble and high pitched munchkin sound lol. in the future contest i advise really going for some new and unusual voices. also ACCENTS. to make it EVEN MORE impressive try giving the characters different accents. :D
i liked the direction of this piece, and it moving toward the muffin man which i personally have a private joke about with my friends, so it had me Lolling hard. :D also the ending concept where they are going "LALALALALALA" was very funny! in terms of fit, i guess they where pretty spot on, however the ACTING which is a large portion of judging this piece, was lacking to be honest. i think your characters where quite expressionless, and they where WHISPERING. are the characters supposed to be whispering to eachother? if not then you shouldnt be whispering. it is hard gaining the confidence to successfully voice act out huge and loud emotions, but none the less it is a requirement. your charcters where quite fun though. in terms of mixing, you did select some tunage appropriate to the feel of the moment, and it was subtly placed so blended nicely. the mic quality was good enough to hear your voice, so the visual script for me was not neccesary, but in the future practice your diction more, to speak more clearly can only do you good!
Your script was amusing, and the whole performance had a quant little charm behind it. quite a cute performance i think.
you are gifted with the ability to adapt your voice into any shape, whether it be impressions or your own creations. you will be a good voice actor if you want to be. keep up the god work! :D and good luck in the voice acting contest!

Kirbyfemur responds:

Haha THANKS!
Unfortunately i probably was whispering. Since at the time i was actually able to record this, everyone else in the house was sleeping, so i couldn't go full out on this one. And the mic i was using was one of those head set mics built for playing only on the playstation, so the quality is WAY better than i expected from the mic i used lol. Thanks again, can't wait to see who ends up with ze crown

Locks quest Battle Phase.

sounds a little similar. locks quest music is all very samey, same chords and stuff... boring really. this has simply stumbled across a similar chord sequence, except this sounds good. well done! nice listening :D the name is irrelevant, but also random. good job :D

i love cartoons more than you. they're totally Bonerific :D:D:D
