aha.

You can here the same person, simply placing strains on the voice, and egging the throat for that squishy higher sound. you have a few original ones though. they are good. the worst is the english one. it is awful. i will teach you if you desire. :D:D:D

I dig this composition, yo.

Truly engaging and yet very unusual. you should work at disney! lol. very entertaining. really enjoyed it. thanks.

MusicalRocky responds:

Haha thanks! That'd be nice lol

quite exquisit LOL

may i dine with you? for this peice makes me want to eat brunch and sip tea.
(Earl Grey of course.)
I really enjoyed this! thank you very much. but i am sure there was a bum note at the start, however on second time round, i hear that may have been intentional. however since the piece does not use this technique at any other point during the piece ( excluding the repeated part) it does seem like an accident.
There. i said something funny. something nice. and something criticky. (word not approved by webster). now lets go have a scone and discuss fine art. :D

MusicalRocky responds:

hahahah
glad you like it :P
by bum note, do you mean a dissonant note? if so, i'll look at the score and see if there is one, 'cause i don't hear any lol.

anyways, thanks for the review.
i'll take you up on that offer, sir :D

i am sure you are hypnotising me.

praise the cupcake. Cupcakes are good. Santa loves cup cakes.
Praise the cupcake.
Our cup cake,
who art in oven,
hallowed be thy fondant,
on top....
as it is in the middle.
Take away, our daily bread,
and replace it with CUPCAKES CUPCAKES CUPCAKES!!!

I dig this sound off, yo

Wowzer. I like the evil sexy voice. :D you are the first female actress i have heard on this site. and now you will put all the next ones i hear to shame. in the future i will send you my work. you may ant to be part of it. :D

EPIC

sounds like it should be the film score to a modernised lord of the rings film. very powerful and effective. love your strings. so sleek and pure sounding. not like most awful instruments. although i know it is not neccessarily down to the instruments. a good musician and do wonders with anything. i.e. a hobo who plays two guitars strings on a led pipe. Ive seen it lol. :D thanks alot. great song. enjoyed it ten times. flowing and sexy. no offense to myne ears. very original. NOT so classical. but it doesnt have to come into that genre for it to be technically or emotionally outstanding. :D:D:D:D:D thanks again. and bass is fine. i have low quality ear drums anyway lol.

stunning.

the man (or very good woman!) of many voices. LOLness. I really enjoyed it! and i am jealous :B

quite good

its quite a nice piece, i would agree that the notes feel in the right scale but rather they are pushed at random.
NOTE : you cant be very expressive without sustain and pressure sensitive keyboards though. may i advise you buy a compatible program allowing such techniques in the future. And the piece is to quick. Played slowly and with the right Velocity and mood, it can be Stunningly fantastic. well done for the idea anyway.

Kanped responds:

I can't argue with that- you're exactly right. Well, the notes aren't 'random', of course, but I am used to composing for percussion and anything I write usually focuises more on rythem than melody. I actually can't play the keyboard at all- this was written in Sibelius (notation software) and I then made the track from the MIDI but I absolutly agree that it has a very limited dynamic range (which has now been fixed). I'm hoping to record it with real musicians- I think that when the dynamics flow properly, the melody lines will work much better as well.

Thanks for your comments.

venetian snares is not hardcore. EVER

low score. it is fun. but annoying and noisey. Distortion is for slight modifications, not an instrument itself.

mr-dogshit responds:

Do you mean hardcore as a sub-genre of techno or as an aesthetic construct? One I'd agree with you, the other most definitely not.

And why should distortion only be used for slight modifications as opposed to a full on effect?
If electronic musicians listened to your opinion, huge swathes of experimental electronica, including that of established and celebrated artists such as Aphex Twin, Autechre and the already mentioned Venetian Snares wouldn't exist... let alone pretty much all gabber, hardstyle and jumpstyle techno.

i love cartoons more than you. they're totally Bonerific :D:D:D
