hmmm..

you should totally call it the thing you where thinking of whilst playing it. if you where crying then something about tears or sadness... if you where excitable and passionate then something about love or movement...
once more you have reinforced the bridge that apsiring musicians can walk across towards your wonderful style of play:D:D:D
that makes no sense. but i know what i mean lol.
Excellent fab man! well done on this! and WTF! why is it on like 3.20? some people are just dicks.

Boux responds:

thanks, love the review, peace.

um.

okay then "zak" lol. this is alright. your a voice actor then. you should have put this in the Voice acting genre. its not really something i could funk down the town with lol. I like the vocals though. very original. nice sounds. although real talent would come without effects. i am sure you can be very inventive with subtler effects. i like that your english too. :D:D:D heres a billions pounds for being british. i always said british animators where the best ones. same with the voice actors. you sound a little like Eddie Boley, (edd egg) you could be big on NG. submit something more inventive and fun to listen to. PM me when you do. i would love to hear where else you can take your talents. :D:D:D

TCBadMan responds:

Thank you for the review

i am thinking about starting my first animation soon i have a program called anime studios 5 but its not very good so i need a program like what Eddy Boley or Eddsworld uses if you could recommend one to me that would be great.

Long time no review! :D:D:D

its been a long time Steph. i hope you are well and life is treating ya good!
now.... this song is mixed perfectly... i am listening, and it sounds live again... digital piano like your last one. which is excellent... it is so much easier to capture good fluid rhythm and emotion with a slightly inconsistent tempo, it adds to the whole reality of the composition. you have mixed your instruments EXCELLENTLY! i struggle to do that with my piano... but truly this is the EPIC win of harps.
loving the eery feel. and the subtle choir is wonderfully placed here and there... adding that gentle warmth and human organic vibrance to the overall piece.
Your harmonics again are wonderful, and the velocity changes further move this song in a wonderfully heartfelt direction...
TBH i think the only word that can properly sum this up is WOWZERS!
really wonderfull and worth a download if you dont mind! :D
well its 5 am and i need to sleep this year.
so take care chicken! :D:D:D and keep doing what you do! because its the awesome.

Jessismith responds:

Hey. :D Yep. Well, not too long, but long enough I guess. Life is stil boring but I'm still living it. Live! Really? :D I guess the rhythm just sort of came with me practicing it over and over again. I find myself doing that....just playing things over and over until I can finally get them right. Why thank you! I feel so honored. I must admit though, I simply mixed a midi file on my computer in a sequencing program. I too struggle to come up with a good instrument mix on the piano. Here on the computer, I can adjust whatever note and whatever instrument at whatever time. xD You think so? I always start out with a piano in these, but of course I just can't replicate the beautiful piano sounds of my digital piano, and so I just always make do with harps....which is my favorite instrument, so I'm glad you liked that. :)
That's exactly the mood I was going for when I added the subtle choir. :) You certainly have a wonderful way with words. It makes it sound so much better than it is. xD I'm also glad you noticed the sort of velocity change. (again, so attentive. :D) I decided to add other instruments and play a bit louder as the song progressed. I'm happy you noticed. Thanks. I was trying to capture beauty little by little in the form of music....sort of like, beauty slowly takes hold and draws one into it, so I suppose I was going for more of a heartfelt melody. :)
TBH, you're the most awesomest person ever! :D Thanks again for another great review. I don't mind for you to download. Downloads are always highly appreciated. :) Well, you have a good sleep.
Alright chicken. :) Heheh, thanks. I will certainly try. :D

holy shizzlefits!

if i may say... this song is absolutely frikkin brilliant! omg WOW!okay so this gets full marks! because amongst displaying your immense talents and playing styles, you are exciting the shit out of me with the up beat direction you took this song in about 1:50. really changes the pace.. the style, but not the song... it works so well. you fitted your ideas together very well! i cant tell the movements apart. although each idea is unique it fits so well... keep up the works like this. because this is the ultimatum of your awesomeness!!!!!!! OMG! FREAKIN SWEET!

Boux responds:

Haha! man i just LOVE your reviews :D the excitement you put in them, makes my day each time.
peace to you!

YAY!

okay. so purely our of respect for you, i am rating honestly. (although i vote 5 to keep it up there!)
okay... So I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! this riff man... it reminds me of a piano riff i made a few years back.. you are bringing memories back! the flute is wonderful, although its unnatural flow slightly removes some of the believablity. the sitar thing...and the way you twist the pitch, is absolutely fantastic. and i am in love with that to! you beat is a little basic, and YES, it is a brilliant idea... it just has no direction yet. i am considering toying with this comp if you dont mind... well just making some additions with my keyboard lol.. i am not quite so fancy as you with your demos lol. but yes. i love it. but because it is not finnished (in my opinion) i cant vote it asthough it was. :D:D:D you take care! and work on this master piece a little more! certainly dont abandon this idea. because its excellent :D:D:D thanks!

SFaPiL2 responds:

Agreed, my beat is a bit skimpy... I'm always a minimalist when it comes to percussions. Must change this.

True about the missing direction... my biggest problem is that I get lost half way during a song when I make it (I usually don't have a structure in my head when I start).

Oooh, I'm curious to listen to one of your ideas. Toy with it all you like. It might give me some ideas (if I can manage to recreate it in FL studio, of course).

Cheers

WOWZERS man...

okay... firstly... i really actually was going to vote 9 on this... deducting 1 point simply for the piano... which lacks alittle texture and velocity. it is very midi......HOwever... it doesnt mean that the music it plays is not stunning. then as it went in i heard one of the most brilliant digital drum sections i have ever heard. so it redeemed immediately.

Your piano stands to play some epic scale arppegios and with such unusual scale references, it both engages and takes the audience on a ride around the clouds. The strings join the piano subtly and steadily, which is smooth and well done. The drums mould into this composition well too. with some beautiful fills, it seems to have a wonderful flow and constant change. however i must comment on the Struggling EQ when clashes occur.
your synths are wonderful, and well fitted to the overall composition, and bring out a little more life in the overall piece... your additional synth, the backing one, soft pulsing one... it helps simulate movement and thus takes the listener deeper.

well, i hope what i said makes some kind of sense lol. but suffice i was to say, i dont favourite alot of stuff. but i Fav'd this straight away.
Adding Mjatti to favs too! well done the both of you. you have taken me on an adventure! 5/5 10/10 4EVA!

ObsidianSnow responds:

Awesome review, thanks a lot. Although I would personally disagree on the sound of the piano being like an MIDI (it's more realistic than anything else I've heard in terms of electronic pianos - tips to Mjattie for getting that to work), I found that a lot of what you said was really helpful, and I think Mjattie would say the same.

Epic stuff, thanks again for the review, Stalagmite!

WTF

okay... so heres a thing. WHY the fork arent you on my favourite artists list??? i though i added you! lol... well its all kewl now. especially with this submission.. you have taken my breath away once more.... you murdered me. i am athsmatic. lol.
no.. joking... although this submission has lots of space and mood, it is charming because of the light hearted emotional playing... really easy chilled, and super cool pace. like has been said... beach music... Beaches and bitches is the way to go yo :D:D:D

rockin composition as always. :D:D:D

Boux responds:

Not a new composition actually, its one of my older one with better EQing, Allright! glad to be on your favorites, about time :D, and eat some chilies that will fix the athsma. thanks again!
peace.

call it sexy slapper LMFAO

its your sexy G-string plucking mixed with the cool slap happy rhythm... So sexy slapper would be more than appropriate. LOL.

na....this song is excellent. full of win and joyness :D:D:D wonderful listening.. and YAY! first review! :D:D:D

Boux responds:

hum... :D
was looking more in a serious title, nontheless thanks again for the nice words!
I'll keep playing with the G-string :D, and ill keep you updated too
peace.

awesome man! WOW!

seriously fantastic! i know someone else in the portal made a WICKED! version of this aswell! you should check it out too... but this... this is EXCELLENT! i must say i prefer the other one... but this... a whole new interpretation... BUSTING MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD! just like this awesome tunage man! WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! well done man!
1 negative thing... to many silent breaks where a drop should be.... but it redeems itself immediately by being so fucking kewl. :D:D:D

Skela responds:

heh, thanks!

Wowzer.

you do like to collect those reviews! righty ho.... now... this has more texture and variation than your usual submissions. it is a very sexy style, tweaking into the classicla spanish meets western feel. your plucking is powerful in this. (LOL the force is strong in this one HAHAHAHA)
and funnily enough, where i may normally complain about it... it actually suits this particular genre. It is full of boundless energy and unusual creative chords and melody. how do you keep your fingers up to it! 5 and a half minutes long! man you must have fingers made of adimantium :D:D:D
I enjoyed listening to this one very much. and look forward to your next audio submission. P.S. i am FINALLY working on a chill song. :D:D:D

Boux responds:

Yeah i love reviews, whoever say they dont are lying, and yeah i let myself go in the plucking in that one, werent even looking at the guitar neck anymore, it just came and more came, a sexy style like you say :D .Got enought strengh in my left hand fingers to break your neck ( not that i would do :D :D ) glad you liked and noticed the different chords and myself too will be looking foward for your ambient piano song.
peace.

i love cartoons more than you. they're totally Bonerific :D:D:D
